Are you an experienced Finance Officer looking to join a high profile National Commercial Law firm who pride themselves on their team culture?


My client is looking for an experienced, reliable and organised Finance Officer to join their Brisbane team in a full time permanent role.

You will come from a corporate environment and as this role is fast paced and autonomous, you will be able to take ownership of your responsibilities and thrive on using your own initiative.

You will have an eye for detail, strong client service values and an enthusiastic approach to your work.

You will be process driven and have experience undertaking a range of accounts payable and receivable functions, including:


  • Processing accounts payable, including entering invoices and preparing payments
  • Entering client and staff disbursements
  • Receipt of daily banking and reconciliation of payments
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations for various accounts
  • Maintenance of monthly trust accounts
  • Assisting with end of month billings

To be successful for interview you will:

  • Be a friendly and approachable team player with a minimum of 12mths recent finance experience, AP in particular, within a corporate environment
  • Clear communication skills with excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and strong client service values
  • Experience working in an autonomous role would be beneficial however not mandatory
  • Experience working to tight deadlines
  • Experience working with accounting software systems as well as excel
