Overview


The role is responsible for overseeing the strategy and delivery of all Corporate Markets IT infrastructure, operations and networks functions.

In addition, the role will drive efficiencies and innovation in this area, including process improvement.


Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • Support the Technology Director in setting the mission, vision, and strategy of the Corporate Markets technology organisation to maximise the success of business and IT enterprise initiatives.
  • Work closely with business leaders to prioritise the key technology deliverables and resource plans needed for technology to delivery and track associated costs to the allocated budget
  • Introduce innovative, differentiating service delivery, technology operations and infrastructure capabilities to maximise business performance and efficiency.
  • Leverage global hubs and capabilities to strengthen Corporate Markets technology functions and drive efficiencies in a sustainable manner.
  • Develops and controls budget to ensure it is consistent with the overall strategic objectives of technology and the enterprise.
  • Drive and own the global CM Azure/Cloud strategy
  • Transform and own CM single tenant and global domain activities and support tools
  • Support the Technology Director, Corporate Markets in the development of a technology sourcing strategy and provides oversight for strategic vendor and partner management.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Infrastructure, Operations and Networks teams across Corporate Markets as well as local Australian teams across the broader Corporate Markets technology portfolio
  • Take ownership for key risks across infrastructure and service delivery functions within Corporate Markets and support the business in rectifying or mitigating these issues.

  • Demonstrable experience leading Technology function at a senior level in a large organisation
  • Proven ability to problem solve and provide creative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels of the organisation and build strong relationship and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of financial services industry
  • Highly effective influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen and experience in managing financials and budgets
  • Cross cultural awareness and experience operating in a senior role across a global organization
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing teams
  • Able to communicate a compelling vision and purpose to broader team
