About the Role:

We're on the hunt for a CSSD Team Leader to join our client's team in New Lambton Heights, NSW.

As a leader in this role, you'll get to steer a team of dedicated Sterilization Technicians towards delivering the highest quality service to our patients.

It's time to scrub up and get ready to lead

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Leading the CSSD team like a boss
Ensuring hospitalwide sterilization services are delivered to the highest quality
Cleaning, washing, packing, wrapping and sterilising of reusable instruments, equipment and consumables used in operating theatre and clinical areas
Performing, interpreting, documenting and overseeing mechanical, chemical and biological quality assurance tests on instrument washers and sterilisers to ensure that they are performing to set standards (AS/NZS4187)
Collaborating with other departments to make our patients feel like royalty

About the company
Our client is a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility. The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit. It also has a cardiac suite including a cardiac catheter laboratory and a 16 bed Coronary Care Unit.

A private maternity suite including 6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery is available for families in the region.

You are someone who'll:

Certificate III in Sterilisation essential
Sound knowledge of AS/NZ
Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
Experience with tracking systems
Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate computer literacy skills including MS office and various data bases
An interest in promoting best practice patient care
A focus on professional development
