  • We have now signed off an exclusive recruitment partnership with a leading Australian Organisation to find a Head of Data Governance; This is a critical Governance pillar you will lead is where data gets in front of the business decisionmakers, so it's a vital function within this team to provide traction across every department to deliver the strategy.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Being a visible leader and forming effective, productive relationships with key stakeholders across all areas of the organisation at least half of your time should be spent working with consumers across the organisation.

You will develop effective relationships with senior stakeholders across our organisation to understand what drives value in each operation, demonstrating to each business function the potential to use data governance to make better decisions that enhance their performance.

Developing and rolling out an enterprise-wide data governance framework with a focus on improving data quality and protecting sensitive data.

Facilitating the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise.

Acting as an evangelist, helping key stakeholders understand how data governance can be used to drive better, faster decisions in their areas.

Initiating and overseeing appropriate initiatives to deliver a continuously improving, robust, scalable service that meets customer and business needs.
A highly confident individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Be incredibly commercially focused with the ability to think strategically, create plans/roadmaps and monitor and evaluate progress.
