Job Description:


The Sebel Brisbane is located in the heart of the Brisbane City CBD just steps from the Queen Street Mall.

The hotel features well-appointed studio, one
- and two-bedroom apartment accommodation, exceptional dining and great amenities.


For meetings, conferences and corporate banquets of up to 200 guests, The Sebel Brisbane features a versatile array of naturally-lit conference rooms and an adjoining outdoor terrace area coupled with experienced event planning and catering, professional audio-visual systems and creative themed designs to ensure a standout corporate gathering.


Blending the peacefulness and convenience of a private apartments with the amenities and personalised hospitality of a full-service hotel, The Sebel Brisbane is the ideal choice for business and holiday accommodation in Brisbane City.


We are currently seeking a Conference and Event Sales Manager for a fixed term of 12 months as a parental leave contract.

Reporting to the hotel's General Manager, your focus will be on stimulating new business whilst building and maintaining long term value-based client relationships.


Qualifications:


This role is a key contributor to ensuring the overall delivery of revenue and experiences are to the highest level within the hotel.

This role would be suited to a proven result driven individual.


To be successful in this role you will require extensive experience within the Conference and Event Sales arena within the hotel sector.

You will also require strong commercial acumen with experience using Opera and Microsoft Office. Experience within Conference and Event Operations would be highly valued.


You will need to be dynamic and flexible in our approach with strong communication skills and amazing leadership style that encourages people to work with you in creating special relationships and experiences.

The role requires you to be able to quickly establish strong professional relationships with existing and new clients and visitors.
