Talent International have partnered with a highly reputable global consulting firm to source an experienced Cisco Voice & VC Technical Migration Lead to support a high-profile Tier 1 Building & Construction end client.

About the Role
In this role you will be leading a data centre lift-and-shift, as well as a cloud migration.

The Technical Migration Lead's responsibilities include:

Designing the strategy to manage client IT Infrastructure in order to support the delivery of operational efficiencies, improve employee and workplace performance and meet dynamic business demands.
Coordinating overall infrastructure improvements across the workplace, network, datacenter and operations as well as provide resources to manage and run the infrastructure on a managed or capacity services basis.
Acting as a Cisco Voice & VC SME whilst also being handson and strong technically.
Overseeing and directing a junior offshore resource who will handle change requests and technical aspects of the migration
Conducting technical migration discussions with the client
Designing roadmap for cloud migration

Requirements:

Extensive experience with Cisco Voice & VC
Must be a Cisco Voice & VC SME
Proven experience leading data centre migrations
Experience designing IT infrastructure strategies
Must have strong hands on technical skills
Experience designing roadmaps and leading cloud migrations is highly desirable
Must be available to start in 2 weeks or less
Must be able to work in the Parramatta office 23 days p/week (and up to 5 days as needed)

Terms

Contract role starting ASAP and running through to July 31st (with potential to extend)
Hybrid role ideally 23 days per week onsite (or more when needed)
Must be able to go in 5 days for initial workshop period

Paying up to approximately $900 per day inclusive of super
