The Role

  • Monitor and manage contract administration, performance and risks against the contract and contribute to implementing appropriate action.
  • Undertake procurement activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies and procedures.


This position undertakes complex contract management and contract administration work, provides advice and assistance on complex policy, procurement and contract management issues, assists in the development of procurement documentation and is at the front line of engagement with stakeholders.


About our Team

The Hunter Class Frigate project, within Major Surface Combatants and Combat Systems Division, is responsible for the design, production and delivery of nine frigates.

The project plays a significant role in the government's plan to create a continuous naval shipbuilding industry.


To achieve this, the Defence organisation requires a skilled and talented workforce, that is solution focused and outcome driven to deliver on this critical Government agenda.

The position offered provides a range of exciting opportunities on one of the biggest Defence and Government procurements.

This work is challenging and requires a degree of flexibility, innovation, and considerable collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders (including the prime contractor) in order to achieve the capability requirements effectively and efficiently
