About the Role

As we move into the new year an exciting and new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk Analyst to join our team, partnering alongside our line 1 Retail Brands and Distribution division.

This is an area of the business that is really growing and provides an interesting range of products and services - plus it certainly is an exciting time to join as we embark on our transformational journey.


As our Risk Analyst, you will provide support, assisting the Risk team, in the identification, assessment, mitigation, management and reporting across risks in our Retail and Business Banking Divisions.

You will support activities relating to risk and control management such as management and administration across incidents, issues and treatment plans.

With regards to risk assessments and process analysis your role will be to provide support across projects, initiatives or throughout any types of change, along with ad hoc risk activities.

About you

You understand the importance of working within a highly regulated industry and have knowledge and a good understanding of financial services obligations with regards to Risk.

You will be familiar with relevant banking Risk policies and procedures, but most importantly come armed with a quest for learning


Coming from the Banking or Financial services industry, your understanding of the banking environment will enable you to pinpoint areas requiring further analysis and attention, ensuring a pragmatic approach to Risk management.

Your continuous improvement mindset will help deliver the ongoing uplift in our Risk intelligence - we call that Rq around here - maturing the Risk lens, ensuring it's at the forefront in everything that we do.

We are seeking a highly organised, collaborative individual who is dedicated to building relationships across teams.

You will have the ability to deep-dive to understand business division's products and services to contribute to first class Risk advice.

You will be committed to learning about Risk control, design and testing methodologies and contribute to assisting the implementation of said Risk controls and processes.
