Position:

Data and Reporting Analyst**:

  • Permanent Opportunity with 7 weeks' paid leave.
  • Onsite (5 days)
  • Location: Frankston, Melbourne

About the role:

The Data Integration and Analytics Engineer is responsible for providing technical and analytical support in relation to the data. This role remains responsive to the needs of students and staff.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing strategic insight and performance reporting.
  • Completing analytical modeling indicators and delivering highquality and accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with leaders to gather the requirements and extract the data from various databases to develop insights for dataled decisionmaking.
  • Present data and analysis in a meaningful way that is easy to read and understand.
  • Analysis and reporting of school demographic and enrolment data, using business intelligence and data visualisation software.
  • Analysis and reporting on school data including the development of a school dashboard.
  • Support the ongoing development and publishing of school data access tools.
  • Identifying new opportunities for process improvements and working with leaders to make recommendations for improving data entry to assist with data flow, extraction, and analysis.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the data and distribution of data to organisation promptly in support of decisions.
  • Function as a member of the ICT support team, providing advice on adhc data requests and queries.

Primary Skills:


  • Expert working knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI to extract and decipher data for key stakeholders.
  • Ability to use programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL Querying.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills including proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
