Market Analyst - Perth, Australia - Rystad Energy

Description

• Develop, model, and maintain granular hydrogen demand model and project database with factual data to support the development of a Global Energy Systems model.
• Support regional customers, represent Rystad Energy to communicate our research on Hydrogen and related topics to local clients and industries. Regular engagement with industry network is crucial part of work for this role.
• Work closely with local commercial team to support commercial activities, as well as engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate and coordinate with the wider global Hydrogen research team in as well as other key products and stakeholders within the region.
• Produce and publish reports and articles on Hydrogenrelated topics based on Rystad Energy analysis, with a strong focus on relevant topics for the APAC region.
• Support management consulting projects as knowledge expert within the core area of research.

• Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or another quantitative discipline.
• Up to five years of relevant working experience within hydrogen & derivatives or energy data & research
• Good understanding of regional energy system, hydrogen policies and energy market dynamics & fundamentals for the largest Asian economies
• Proficiency in the core Microsoft Office product suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook) is required for this role.

• Hard working, proactive, independent, openminded and creative. Thrives in a fastpaced environment, is a strong multitasker and strong team player.
• Ability to operate independently and flexibly in an environment which is both demanding and multicultural.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in any other languages widely spoken in APAC region would be advantageous.
