  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Retirment Living Operations Support Manager position for a twelve month contract role with future potential. This position will be based at our Support Office in Hawthorn East, just 9 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD with travel required to sites in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our support office is a thriving, supportive and friendly environment, where you will have the opportunity to work with other passionate people.
  • The Operations Support Manager role is for a talented, motivational leader who is passionate about working with seniors and who will develop relationships with clients, residents and staff. In this role, you will provide operational support to Managers engaged in daytoday delivery of services and support the Business Manager in achieving the Retirement Living operational and strategic business objectives including development of policies, relief management and implementation of village projects. You will do this by ensuring the resident is at the centre of decision making and by supporting residents to live their best life and achieve their personal goals

Your day to day activities include:

  • Provide leadership, direction and support to Retirement Village Managers
  • Support, monitor and improve management processes in accordance with associated legislation
  • Lead the implementation of service related efficiency and effectiveness projects across the portfolio
  • Promote the integration of services between Residential Aged Care, Home Care nd Retirement Living
  • Assist village management to achieve accreditation under ARVAS

To thrive in the role you will have:

  • Extensive experience in retirement living management
  • Proven experience in providing exception standards of customer service
  • The ability to initiate, lead and manage effective change and continuous improvement
  • Highly developed personal organisation, time management and interpersonal skills that foster resoect
  • High level of written and verbal communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
