We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team in a new Warehouse based in Altona.
In this role you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager, providing leadership activities to the Logistics Operators (Alstom and External), and ensure seamless execution of the physical & ERP system management of incoming stock and distribution to the production line.

Key responsibilities for the role but not limited to:
- Plan and manage packing/unpacking for line deliveries and outbound transportation
- Manage inventory accuracy and integrity
- Manage surplus stock reduction and utilisation
- Manage quarantine area maintenance, and reporting
- Identify needs and improve internal standards and process alignment
- Process receipting of goods & services (direct and indirect), Invoice Queries, inbound advice and stock transfers
- Packaging of stock for storage or sending to suppliers and/or external warehouses
- Picking of workstation materials and delivery of parts and kits to line side and designated footprints
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Experience in a supervisory position with exposure to warehousing and logistics
- Experience in the Automotive or rail industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate cross functions with various levels of the organisation
- Selfmotivated and a team player
