The Opportunity
To assist in the implementation of the Loss Prevention & Shrinkage Reduction programs at CRG.

You will ensure that the stock balance is correct and reflected accurately in both merchandise planning and financial reporting systems.

What does the role involve?

Assist in the development of loss prevention strategy and framework
Participation in strategy meetings regarding program priorities & outcomes
Assist in the implementation of LP program strategies in the store network / brand
Response to LP related incidents in the store network / brand
Coaching & monitoring stores regarding stocktake preparation
Investigation & finalisation of stocktake results
Ensure data integrity for stocktake and ensure any issues are escalated to IT
Analysis of stock loss/shrink results for reporting to key stakeholders
Assist stores in achievement of their individual shrinkage targets & as well as overall company target achievement
Focus on early identification of shrinkage trends through constant monitoring of loss, transactional data & communication with stores
Using Fraud Detection software to identify any issues at stores with high results
Generation / interpretation of company exception reports & data regarding loss and transactional indicators
Identifying of irregularities / poor results and reporting to Senior Management along with presenting recommendations to key stakeholders
Responding as first contact to stores regarding reports of LP incidents

Who are we looking for?

Previous experience working with inventory in a retail environment preferred
Previous loss prevention / audit / stocktake control experience in a multisite retail environment
Previous experience in analysis & interpretation of transactional data & stocktake results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Word & Excel
Demonstrated ability in working to strict deadlines utilising effective time management techniques
