Description

Operations Admin Officer provides administrative support to the Operations Centre in relation to business planning, financial management, administrative responsibilities, work processing of works orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Administration assistant in a Local Government Operations environment
  • To capture data and processing of City and East Link accounts and invoicing
  • To capture data and processing of infringement and parking fines for Council's fleet vehicles
  • To capture data of all worksheets for Council's Fleet Workshop maintenance activities and safety inspections
  • Interrogation and reporting of data within Council's Fleet Management Program
  • Assist in managing the annual fleet registration renewal program,
  • Typing and formatting of Council's reports for the Fleet Management Department.
  • To process and manage tip waste disposal dockets and invoices for the Operations Centre.
  • To provide general administrative duties for the Operations Centre, including but not limited to filing, faxing, typing and formatting of tender document & reports, taking minutes of meetings, answering telephone calls, Data Works, CRS System, Life Cycle System and the Financial Management system

Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience in computer software, including MS Office, Words, Excel, BIS, Contract Manager, Lifecycle and Dataworks.
  • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills
  • To have an understanding of relevant office procedures, industry terminology, policies and regulations of the Department
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with residents, other authorities and contactors.
  • Experience in raising work orders, purchase orders, processing of payments and monitoring of expenditures
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum year 12 secondary education, with qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or demonstrated experience in the field of administration and office procedures.
