Urban Infrastructure is currently recruiting a Leading Hand to join our Civil Construction Company. We contract to Tier 2 Construction Companies with projects ranging from $500K to $3M. Due to Contracts Awarded we are looking to immediately hire a suitable Leading Hand.
Our projects include Industrial Complexes, Government Projects, Sporting Fields, Parks and Open Spaces, Bulk Excavation including Shoring and Piling, as well as Hard and Soft Civil Landscape Projects.
The Role:
- Managing a small crew of Labourers
- Training and guiding the team
- Liaise with supervisor
- Attend and Hold Toolbox meetings
- Experience on Commercial and / or Industrial construction sites
About You:
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand
- Understanding of Large scale Civil & Landscape packages
- Experience leading a team of 3 Labourers
- Ability to read construction plans and drawings
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Team leader & problem solver
- Drivers Licence
- White Card
Job Types:
Full-time, Casual
Salary:
$ $43.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
