$72,751 - $88,336 plus superannuation

About the Role

The Justice Officer Team Leader leads a team of Justice Officers at the Justice Service Centers and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of administrative, operational support, and reception services.

They ensure the team is adequately resourced and skilled to meet the needs of their role and act as an escalation point for any issues.

They also assist with incident management, manage physical assets, monitor service delivery standards, and recommend solutions to emerging issues.

The leader will work in conjunction with the location managers and the Business Support Manager to provide efficient service delivery and community engagement services.

The Justice Officer Team Leader role will be based at Morwell however there will be a requirement to travel and perform tasks across Gippsland Region Justice Service Centres.

About you

Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a customer service environment.

  • High standard in communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to show resilience and flexibility.
  • Welldeveloped computer literacy.
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
  • Experience in leading a multidisciplinary service delivery team would be advantageous.

Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal.

This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).


Acceptable evidence includes:

COVID-19 digital certificate(available via your myGov account)

Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
