Role Summary:

The Storeperson role is responsible for multiple daily tasks including receiving, storing, picking and packing of Industrial Valve / Valve spare parts.

No one day will be the same.

Responsibilities:

Receipt & process incoming goods into the warehouse via our ERP System (Oracle).
Storing incoming goods into their correct locations.
Accurately pick/pack Work orders in a timely manner to ensure production workflow is maintained.
Accurately pick/pack Customer orders from small boxes to large pallet items and book transport for despatch.
Assisting with daily stock counts.
Loading and unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
Internal stock movements.
Paint touch up, cleaning packing of valves before shipping to customer.
Open wooden crates.
Operate overhead crane.
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
Manual handling 5kg 20kg using proper lifting equipment & perform duties while standing for extended periods of time.
Handle Air & Power tools, use slings as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar warehousing environment is required.
Physically fit and able to undertake manual lifting of up to 20kg.
Current Forklift licence (or willing to obtain).
Good level of Computer skills.
Flexible to work overtime during busy periods.
Strong organisational and time management skills.

A great attitude and an enthusiastic approach.
