The Role

An opportunity has become available for several Advanced Trainees (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Provide clinical care under supervision and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfy relevant specialist college and medical board requirements in order to practice as a specialist
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care
  • Assess patients, determining and instigating appropriate investigations
  • Establish management plan for patients in consultation with the consultant
  • Continually monitor and review patient progress and adjust the management plan when necessary
About you


To be successful in this position you will require:

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Must be a member of RANZCOG
  • Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination
  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 1
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary

  • Temporary full time (9 positions, up to 12 months with possibility of extension)
  • Base salary ranging from $ $ per annum
