Training Officer to join our HR Team in Kewdale on a part-time basis
The Role:

  • As the Training Officer, you will report into the HR Business Partner Lead and provide Training, Learning & Development and administrative support to the HR Team, Trainer & Assessor and the wider company
  • You will be part of providing a vital Training, Learning & Development experience to all new & existing employees in the company with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
  • Induct new hires into the business and conduct orientation sessions.
  • Deliver training courses as necessary in support of the Trainer & Assessor. (Includes some hands on training)
  • Update/maintain/create internal VOC and SWP assessment materials.
  • Design and expand training and development based on the needs of the organisation and the individual and produce training material for inhouse courses.
  • Ensure all employee training certifications are uploading into STEMS
  • Be the MyLearning administrator and support for all Epiroc University Global assigned programs
  • Provide reports on training and learning and development programs
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
  • Establish and maintain Traineeship and Apprenticeship programme.
  • We have a preference for the role to be Monday to Friday in a parttime capacity.
Working hours can be discussed with the successful person
About You:

  • Minimum of 3 years' previous experience in an Training or HR role;
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office;
  • Strong administration and data entry skills;
  • A keen eye for detail;
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good numeracy and accuracy skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and determine priorities;
  • Strong problemsolving and multitasking skills;
  • Be enthusiastic and supportive of business requirements;
  • Confident and positive can to attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable to change;
  • Be the 'Go To' person for all things Training, Learning & Development.
