Norco AgriSolutions are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and people-focused Production Manager for our Lismore StockFeed Mill.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure the plant operates efficiently and production targets are achieved
Schedule daily truck loads and communicate with customers to optimize cost effectiveness of loads
Lead and support the team of Mill employees and promote a positive working environment
Maintain the highest Quality Assurance and Food Safety Standards by participating and monitoring QA checks
Active participation in workplace health and safety training programs and initiatives
Proactively undertake incident/hazard investigations, risk assessments, inspection checklists, and the implementation of corrective actions
Manage preventative maintenance program
Promote and encourage a close relationship with the Norco Rural branch network

To be successful in this role you will need:

Experience and understanding of Mill processing procedures
Strong leadership and people management skills
High focus and commitment to safety
Selfmotivated with good problem solving and decisionmaking skills
Good verbal, writing, reading and maths skills
Basic computer literacy skills
Display behaviours that are consistent with Norco's values of authenticity, connection, diversity and agility
Forklift & current drivers license essential.
