- Assist with the planning, design and implementation of road tunnels, rail tunnels, surface and Provides discipline specific engineering expertise in feasibility and constructability reviews.
- Optimises engineering designs from a feasibility, and practicability perspective
- Enhances technical designs for safe, sustainable engineering and compliance
- Assist Aurecon's Road and rail transport operator clients minimise operating costs by taking into consideration the changing use of a tunnel and recent developments in fire engineering and tunnel ventilation.
- Manages a team of engineers and other technical professionals and ensures efficient business operations.
- Participates in the resolution of issues such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and complex coordination
- Understands client's business outcomes when problem solving
- Demonstrated technical expertise in the field of fire safety engineering
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in supporting a team and client management
- Chartership and affiliations relevant to fire safety engineering would be advantageous
