About the role


We are looking for a
Specialist Environment and Reporting to join our team at our Perth, central Park office location to assist with delivering risk-based advice and reporting based on Resource Development needs across the organisation.


You'll be part of a friendly/ supportive/ high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.

You'll work a 5 days on, 2 days off roster (with flexible work options) which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.


This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who possesses the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, maintain flexibility to adapt to changing business conditions and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.


Reporting to the Lead Environment you will:

  • Support first party assurance to Resource Development
  • Provide technical SME advice to support environmental risk management processes as required.
  • Deliver approval/legislation energy and climate change (E&CC) obligations, legal interpretation and reporting associated with Resource development activities.

What you'll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Respect for others and an allinclusive mindset
  • A Tertiary qualification in an environmental discipline or a related field
  • Understanding of the Environmental Protection Act and Mining Act
  • The skills to communicate and consult effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent technical writing skills, attention to detail and an ability to interpret and problem solve complex issues
  • The ability to work in a team environment

It will also be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience in project management
