About the role


The Community Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an online food sampling community where thousands of customers and team members get to taste, sample and share experiences about various foods You will drive an improvement in advocacy amongst the community members and ultimately sales.

You will develop a strategic roadmap for community engagement, content and manage a team of 2 community specialists. This would suit someone who is customer focused and has a creative mindset to keep the members of the community coming back for more


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop a 13 year community vision and roadmap for each community
  • Implement the community strategy, including member engagement & optimisation, content & editorial plans, developing strategy to increase engagement across all programs, managing community specialists and their roadmaps/success metrics.
  • Responsible for strategy development and execution of content plan to engage community members
  • Ownership of framework including moderation strategy, maximising salesforce & custom moderation tools, guidelines for content submission
  • Regular reporting on key metrics and measures to monitor customer engagement using various sources e.g. salesforce dashboard, adobe & google analytics
  • Identify and report on community trends and advise relevant business teams on potential opportunities or risks
  • Responsible for driving engagement across the community members and executing/implementing a content plan that keeps them coming back for more
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally

You will have:


  • Looking for minimum 3 years' experience managing an online community (preferably an owned community)
  • Total experience 68+ years.
  • Experience managing 1 direct report or mentoring
  • Excellent communication, ability to build strong rapport and written skills is a must
  • Experience in successfully navigating complex & sensitive situations involving public communications
  • Strong organisation skills and an eye for detail

This opportunity can be based anywhere in Australia with a preference for Sydney and offers excellent flexibility 6 Month Daily Rate contract with the view to go perm/extend
