We are currently seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join Quaker Oats at our Forrestfield factory.

Responsibilities:

Location: Forrestfield
Rotating roster - 6am-2pm (Week 1), 2pm-10pm (Week 2), 10pm-6am (Week 3)
Monday to Friday
Permanent full-time position
Selection Process: Phone Conversation, Interview, Online Testing, Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks, Decision

In this role you will:

Ensure continuous operation of all packing equipment
Conduct regular quality control checks for labeling and print requirements
Monitor filling and sealing of bags correctly
Ensure finished product meets specifications
Complete documentation accurately
Report faults promptly to maintain operations
Drive KPIs and resolve basic machine faults
Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and reliability standards
Collaborate with other departments

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Effective communication and problemsolving skills
Knowledge of GMP requirements and work standards
Forklift operator certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
