National Workforce has partnered with a well-known major provider of packaging and dispensing solutions for leading global and Australian brands, servicing various markets from Food and Beverage to Beauty and Home Care.

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join an established team. This position will primarily be responsible for the diagnosing and repairing manufacturing and packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Trouble shoots equipment in regards to electrical, mechanical and hydraulic functions.
Responsible for minimising machinery downtime by ensuring machinery and equipment are kept in good working order.
Ability to follow all written and verbal procedures and work instructions in particular adhering to all safety aspects
Perform preventative, routine and breakdown maintenance.

You will need:

Experience with either Scope,MPI, Keifel and or Illig Thermoform machines (Desirable)
Experience with carding machinery, carton taper, labelingand bundle wrapping machinery.
Ability and understanding of Tool Setting.
Must have practical, handson experience.
Understanding of WHS compliance requirements essential.

Regular shift time is 7am - 3:30pm, however this role will require some degree of flexibility as you may need to perform maintenance outside of normal production hours.
