About the Role

Our fabulous Model Validation team sits within our Market Risk, Credit Models & Insights group and are responsible for managing model risk and performing model validation activities.

The types of models will range from market risk and valuation models, prescribed regulatory calculators, forecasting models and statistical credit risk models.

You'll get involved with defining priority models for validation, pipeline management and of course, overseeing model materiality assessments.


We maintain a Model Integrity Policy and therefore in these roles, you'll be responsible for ensuring models are validated in accordance with the policy requirements and model validation frameworks align to the policy requirements.


About you
As a passionate risk analyst professional, you will join us with exposure to the analytical model validation landscape.

We operate in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment, so we are seeking a strategic, quantitative thinker who can problem-solve on the fly.

Collaboration and partnership come naturally to you, and you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, participating, and promoting cooperative working relationships across the organisation, whilst leaving your mark.


As an outcome-driven professional, you enjoy proactively communicating with the business to understand and reach their vision - yes, you get the numbers, but you can also translate that into business outcomes.


If you have experience in market risk, balance sheet management, Treasury risk management, liquidity, capital or credit risk modelling we want to hear from you You may also have a strong ability to coordinate, communicate and integrate enterprise-wide programs from the ground up, taking accountability for their overall success.
