Provide administration support within a Local Council's Operations Department.What's in it for you
- Weekly Pay + Super.
- State Government Department
- 24 hours per week, Monday-Thursday
- 4 week assignment, with potential to extend
- Based in Greensborough
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare responses to correspondence in the records management system
- Maintain residential and commercial waste databases
- Prepare and maintain Bin Supp spreadsheets for the Revenue Department
- Administer the vehicle infringement module. Liaise closely with Victoria Police, toll operators and other agencies.
- Update and maintain After Hours procedures
- Provide administrative support and to enquiries on all aspects
- Attend the counter and public enquiries in a professional manner
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration or significant relevant work experience.
- Ability to work with other business units to resolve issues, such as managing invoicing and payments received.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and communicate positively and effectively with members of Capital Projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage Customer Requests for Maintenance.
- Experience providing administrative support across teams and working with a diverse range of contractors.
- Highly developed computer skills, in particular experience with Microsoft Office, TRIM and Council's Authority system.
- Understanding of financial management procedures including raising purchase orders
