Description

You will be responsible for:


  • Lead and mentor a highly skilled team in accordance with the approved ITSM Problem Management process.
  • Ensure compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Optimise costs of service delivery by designing and developing improvements in particular technology domains within the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Maintain and manage effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Assist in the management of the team's budget, in accordance with the appropriate financial delegations, including developing, and contributing to, funding strategies and budget submissions.
  • Assist in the leading and mentoring of the team at strategic and operational levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems to achieve defined service levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management

  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus

  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions

  • Proven ability to lead, and mentor a team of technical specialists

  • Welldeveloped management skills and knowledge including high level ability in the areas of planning, managing resources, budget preparation and financial management
