Primary Purpose:

Provision of effective and agile leadership and direction in supporting the Director Regional Services and Operations with the operational and strategic management of Regional Services and Operations.
Undertaking research, analysis, management, evaluation and reporting on organisational projects/programs of work using an evidence based and best practice approach that will add value to regional services and operations from concept through to implementation across the CFS Regions.
Effective and successful management of facilities and equipment integration across Regions, including facilitating the collaboration between Regions and State Headquarters directorates.
Undertake research, analysis and validation of Risk and Capability variations, additions, or modifications, defining recommendations for the Director Regional Services and Operations and SACFS.
Effectively manage and support the SACFS State Operations Support Brigade
Actively contribute to the development of current, evidence based and best practice doctrine and ensure it is able to be applied in an operational context.
Undertaking the design and implementation of projects utilising best practice and current project management methodology.
Facilitate positive and collaborative stakeholder engagement and consultation in the design of projects and evaluation of the benefits delivered.
Act as Executive Officer for Regional Commander forums
Maintaining and effective coordinating work programs and projects across Regions.
Regularly monitor and report on operational performance, including key performance indicators, outcomes and risks of SACFS regions.

Essential Qualifications**:

Appropriate tertiary qualification (diploma level or above) in related discipline or equivalent extensive experience.
PUA30701 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting Operations) or its successor

Remuneration:

ASO6
$97,022 - $102,626
