About the Agency


The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.


To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.

When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.


About the role


The Manager, Grants Delivery leads and coordinates the Authority's administration and delivery of grant programs to ensure effective governance in the development, distribution and use of state and Commonwealth grants for disaster risk reduction, preparedness, and recovery.


Key accountabilities:

  • Manage a team delivering a range of critical grant programs reducing disaster risk for NSW communities
  • Proactively implement the grants management framework to ensure best practice delivery and outcomes, and compliance to the NSW Grants Administration Guide
  • Oversee the performance of Commonwealth/State and other grants administered by the Authority.
  • Manage and maintain a robust risk and performance reporting systems for State and Commonwealth stakeholders, with appropriate governance


Reporting to the Director, Grants and Investments, you will lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement with grant recipients and other government agencies, as well as work with internal stakeholders to support the grant package delivery, including oversight of compliance and reporting obligations.

Being a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our services you must be able to maintain effective working relationships and open channels of communication.
