Sci-Fleet Motors is a family-owned business that has been servicing South East QLD for over 40 years.

Employing over 580 staff, Sci-Fleet has multiple Toyota, Lexus and Hino dealerships spanning across South East QLD which look after all aspects of motoring including Parts, Service, Finance and Insurance.


We are seeking an energetic and passionate person to join our friendly Parts team at Eagle Farm on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Group Parts Manager.


You will be responsible for:

  • Manage and lead the daytoday running of the Parts Department operations,
  • Liaising with Panel, Mechanical, Trade and Retail customers both face to face and over the phone,
  • Educate and coach managers and supervisors to comply with policies and procedures
  • Where required assist with disciplinary meetings
  • Assist in the development and delivery to improve practices to support capability development in the Workshop and Distribution Centre
  • Manage the employee lifecycle and assist with the organisations recruitment strategies and build a positive culture of accountability and high performance
  • Drive improved performance by identifying trends, undertaking analysis, and providing reports
  • Input Customer Orders into DealerPro and manage specific programs
  • Assess availability of 'in stock' parts and source parts from TMCA and other dealers as required
  • Process quotes for Panel Beaters and Mechanics
  • Source, order and receive parts not available in Brisbane
  • Advise customers of estimated delays on parts not available in Brisbane
  • Source missing and/or misallocated stock parts
  • Examine damaged parts and determine their suitability for sale
  • Serve internal customers including employees, mechanics, sales staff and administration,
  • Rectify daily problems as required,
  • Report to Parts Manager on any and all operating concerns ,
  • Complete daily stock orders,
  • Complete interbranch stock transfers.

  • Have a strong knowledge of vehicle models
  • Sound mechanical knowledge
  • Strong understanding of MICROCAT (Microfilm Parts Finding System)
  • Excellent ability to source information from MICROCAT
  • Proactive forward thinker with strong planning and organisational skills
  • Highly motivated, able to prioritise and work unsupervised to achieve targets
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong time management and goal setting skills
  • Strong verbal, written presentation skills and effective listening skills
  • Administration Skills and IT Skills
  • Experience in staff management, strong team focus, supervision and people management skills
  • Lateral thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
