About the role


We are seeking a dedicated Just Brass Coordinator You will engage with at-risk students in partnering primary schools, through provision of brass instrument tuition and leadership development opportunities.

Responsibilities include

  • Organise Just Brass events each year, minimum one per term in school and in the community
  • Engage with Corps Ministry Team (e.g., Youth Worker) to connect graduating Year 6 (or 7) Just Brass students with youth program
  • Develop working pathways to other (Corps) ministry initiatives, particularly those engaging children and families
  • Manage safe transportation of students to all band rehearsals, performances and special events
  • Ensure school personnel are kept informed of Just Brass activities
This is a fixed-term part-time position, 5 hours per week contracted for 12 months, based in Belmont, VIC.
