Join our team of intelligent and collaborative Changemakers and make your mark on tomorrow In this Geologist position, you'll support the Mine Engineering & Stability team from our beautiful Perth office.

Demonstrate your hard rock and operational experience, while undertaking geological modelling and resource estimation for a range of commodities. Utilise your mine planning and geology software exposure.

What you'll do:


  • Supporting geological modelling and resource estimation for a range of commodities;
  • Undertake geological and geotechnical investigations including desktop and field investigations;
  • Interpretation of geological and geotechnical data, performing analysis and drawing conclusions/recommendations primarily for input into geological models;
  • Support site drilling activities;
  • Undertake geological and geotechnical logging;
  • Undertake statistical and geostatistical analysis of data;
  • Support preparation of proposals, tenders, memorandums, reports and other technical deliverables;
  • Identify safety hazards, report OH&S incidents and conduct all work in a safe manner;
  • Conduct all work to satisfy all company, client and government conditions, policies, procedures, regulations and standards.

About you:


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or related discipline;
  • Demonstrated experience in one of the industry accepted mine planning and geology software packages e.g. Vulcan, Leapfrog, Surpac or Datamine highly desirable;
  • Experience within a mining environment will be highly regarded;
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team of professionals;
  • Welldeveloped analytical and problemsolving skills and excellent attention to detail
