About the role

  • As Manager of the Electrical Trade Department, you will provide Strategic Leadership and Exemplary Supervision to all Electrical Tradespersons and Electrical Operational Staff in your charge, whilst promoting an Environment of Inclusion and Teamanship. You will Provide a Reliable, Legislative Compliant and Safe Electrical Service to The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) Electrical Infrastructure and some offsite Facilities. This position includes being available for the On-Call Engineering Duties roster and occasional out of hours work when necessitated.
  • You will Manage, Supervise and Complete all Planned, Preventative and Corrective Electrical Maintenance on ELV, L.V and H.V Electrical Distribution Power Systems and carry out Project Work as required. You will also Service and Maintain Emergency Power Generation Infrastructure and Networks,
  • Building Management Systems (BMS),
  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC),
  • Computerised exit and air tube systems,
  • Fire, Nexus and General Lighting Systems and all other Hospital and Infrastructure Electrical Specialised Equipment within a Major Health Care Facility and Offsite Campus's.
  • Ensure all Plant and Equipment Managed by this position is Maintained in accordance with Australian Standards, Mandatory Statutory Requirements and Queensland Health Specifications. You will supervise the operation of Electrical Contractors working on TPCH Campus. Manage and Supervise the operation of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in Electrical and ensure all Documentation and work base Evidence is Completed as requested.
