As a Maintenance Planner at
Sarens (Australia) Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for setting up our Western Australian depot as well as managing a maintenance team to provide support for our fleet of specialized heavy lift gantry and crawlers cranes as well as specialised self-propelled modular trailers.

The maintenance team will be responsible for exceptional interventions on heavy lift equipments during breakdowns. The fleet maintenance team also provides on-site maintenance, repair and inspection of heavy lift equipment.


You tasks and duties include:

  • Manages and trains a team of maintenance fitters and engineering technicians
  • Ensure the maintenance team checks, controls, and tests the mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic aspects of the fleet equipment according to Sarens' procedures and instructions, inline with manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Supervising and coordinating inspections, interventions, and repairs with regard to fleet equipment, material, and, when necessary, the yard, according to a checklist and/or the applicable Sarens procedures and manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Supervising the periodical maintenance schemes for fleet/equipment.
  • Troubleshoots when unique failures in relation to Sarens equipment arise.
  • Orders the necessary (standard) parts, factoring in costs and quantities through the Group Service Manager
  • Assembles and installs new and modified mechanical assemblies as per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Responsible for motivating/ensuring everyone works safely and according to the Sarens' SHEQ standards
  • Identifies and orders nondestructive testing as needed.
  • Setting up the maintenance depot
  • Ensures all finished works are within specifications.
Skills and Experience

At least three year experience in a similar managerial role. Diploma level qualification is preferred.


Salary:
$110, $134,099.21 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

  • Maddington, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
