The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and guidance in delivering the portfolio strategy and operational outputs across the contract portfolio.

The Account Manager is responsible for the management of a number of HVAC Accounts and providing leadership to leading technicians and contract support.

The role will manage client's sites to ensure a consistent and high level of service delivery.

Here's what you'll achieve:


  • Act as single point of contact for Client Property Lead and develop positive relationships with the client for all facilities management services issues.
  • Respond to problems and concerns that are recurring or of a sensitive nature; enforce policy, rules and regulations.
  • Plan and manage facilities management operation teams in term of staffing, training, and evaluating operations maintenance and support personnel for whole of contract.
  • Ensure the overall performance of the contract and required deliverables including: contract compliance, performance management against KPI's, cost savings initiatives, and customer satisfaction are met and exceeded.
  • To ensure the successful implementation of portfoliowide initiatives and programs including: savings program, energy program, HSE, playbooks, service delivery plans, training & development, and succession planning.
  • Attend and participate in annual or other planned audits (e.g. Environmental management, Quality management, Information Security).
  • Research new programs or processes with CBRE global expert network to improve quality/costs/performance for the client.
  • Develop strategic procurement activities, ensuring best practice, competitive pricing, development of strategic supplier relationships and proactive delivery of services.
  • Review and adjust contract processes, to ensure consistency and adherence with client master contract and CBRE's corporate standards.
  • Effectively resolve disputes arising from noncompliance.
  • Develop the annual facilities budget with input from direct reports and drive the contract to meet all financial and performance targets agreed.
  • Ensure internal systems are maintained and up to date with regards to facilities and asset management requirements.

About you:


  • Minimum of 6 years in a Facilities Management, Technical or Hard Services related field
  • Previous experience in management and development of geographically disbursed teams.
  • Driver's license may be required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with ability to effectively present information.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex technical documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order management systems.
  • Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, fire and mechanical systems. Working knowledge of leases, contracts, and related documents.
  • Provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
  • Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies.
