As a result of our growth and new business pipeline, we are currently seeking a Civil Surveyor to join our team and provide support to our project teams.


About The Role
Working across multiple sites in various environments, the role will see you:

  • Conduct survey set out as directed from the Survey Manager and Senior Supervisors.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted on sites.
  • Survey set out of Roads & Drainage, Topographical surveys, quantity volume surveys & Asbuilds as required. Control and GPS localisations.
  • Work with the latest Topcon & Trimble Survey equipment & Machine Control, including Robotic Total Station, Network & Base GPS systems.
  • Coordinate findings with the work of engineers, site supervisors, clients and other project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and identify issues before they arise.
  • Undertake computations and checks to create 3d data for set out, reports and machine control, using CAD software.
  • Carry out field, office & maintenance duties as required. Training of junior staff on measuring & and using survey set out correctly.

About You

As a Civil Surveyor, you will ideally possess:

  • Ideally 2-5 years' experience in a surveyor role.
  • Experience with GPS and or Total Station.
  • Understanding of CAD software packages, and willing to learn.
  • Knowledge and experience using Topcon, Trimble or Leica survey equipment.
  • Passion to learn & explore new technologies.
  • Have great Time management, prompted and drive.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
