Toowoomba Metal Services is equipped with an advanced, state-of-the-art laser-cutting machine and we are seeking a CNC laser operator/programmer to join our manufacturing team.
Essential skills and experience:
- Laser machine experience (CNC/laser Programming) including SIGMANEST or CAD based program.
- Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running, natural problem solver
- Ability to recognize poor machine performance and correct errors.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
Essential attributes:
- Mechanical aptitude and computer literacy
- Be reliable, honest and hardworking.
- Work well with others in a small team environment.
- A current Australian forklift license would be advantageous.
The role will be responsible for:
- Running our CNC laser cutting machine from plans provided.
- Running our sheet metal CNC brake press brakes when required.
- Loading material and unloading parts.
- Sorting and checkingoff parts.
- Parts cleanup and sanding.
- Loading and unloading trucks.

Salary:
$ $41.24 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
Supplemental pay types:
- Annual bonus
- Overtime
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wilsonton, QLD 4350: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- laser cutting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
