About the role


A fantastic opportunity exists for a VPS 3 Talent & Mobility Administrator to join a high-performing talent team on a fixed-term contract until 1 November 2023.

Working in a central government department will give you an opportunity to network across the whole Victorian government, develop new skills and gain great exposure to new systems in a fun and supportive environment.

In this role you will help provide critical support in the following areas**:

  • Provide administration support and coordination to the Talent Acquisition and Mobility function at every stage of the Recruitment & Selection process as directed.
  • Coordinate the endtoend process for Remuneration Committee, including submission of out of session requests.
  • Ensure compliance with all DTF and VPS recruitment and employment policies and procedures.
  • Generate VPS and SES contracts and perform subsequent onboarding activities for the Department as required.
  • Actively participate in the review, continuous improvement and development of HRrelated policies, procedures and projects to support effective operational implementation.

About you
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous administration experience within a talent and mobility or HR function.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop and sustain positive partnerships both internally and externally to the Department.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully managing multiple and competing priorities while delivering operational excellence in a changing environment.
  • Previous experience with using Human Resources Information System/s.
  • Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills with capability to generate reports, presentations, and insights for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable exceptional attention to detail.
