Description
Our client is a well-known organisation located in the heart of Brisbane CBD.Recently an opportunity has become available for a driven and professional Bookkeeper to join their small Accounting team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:- Ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements
- Journals
- Accruals
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Prepare end of month accounts
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Ad hoc duties
Ideally you will have a minimum of - 3 years bookkeeping experience, have intermediate excel skills and rock-solid knowledge in XERO.
Excellent communication is paramount for this position as you will be liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
