This is an exciting time of growth for Mortgage Choice, but something that remains the same is that our qualified mortgage brokers continue to provide first class customer service and advice to help our customers take control of their finances.


What the role is all about- Provide exceptional customer service in a timely and accurate measure and responding to the needs of customers throughout all stages of the lending cycle- Reach expected settlement targets while contributing to a positive team culture and ensuring you have a high customer feedback rating- Seek out additional product sales opportunities from clients eg.

asset finance, personal finance, commercial lending and general insurance referral opportunities for business partners Follow the Franchise Operations System (FOS) as detailed in the Mortgage Choice Operations Manual, and as presented in the Mortgage Choice Information Center online, particularly in regard to responsible lending obligations and privacy obligations- Ensure upkeep of continuous development including but not limited to attending Lender accreditation sessions, maintaining industry CPD point score and ensuring accurate up to date knowledge of lenders products, policies and service levels- You'll use your excellent problem-solving skills and product knowledge to answer customer queries and maintain and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Who we're looking for- Experience of Home Lending / Mortgage or Credit products is essential with a minimum 3 years of current home loan lending experience with a bank or mortgage broker in a sales based environment- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking/Either MFAA or FBAA current accreditation would be an advantage- Proven track record in achieving sales results and business development skills- You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in order to convey terms in a clear and concise manner- Confident to conduct home loan health checks- High level influencing skills, along with the ability to leverage opportunities and modify approach to best position ideas, overcome or minimise barriers and address unique needs and preferences of customers- You will be confident to conduct calls to existing or new customers and be comfortable in cold-calling marketing activities that we may attend from time to time- Be thorough, precise and take pride in all aspects of your role- Able to adapt to and learn changes in technology and our processes- Whilst there is no weekend work, we ask for flexibility should a customer seek an after-hours call
