The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees. Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to a wide range of health disciplines.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated laboratory assistant/technician for appointment to our technical support team.

The role is responsible for the delivery of laboratory advice and support services in both research and teaching laboratories and contributes to the provision of a safe laboratory environment for students and staff in the Allied Health Sciences programs within the School.

Demonstrable technical skills and experience in preparing for laboratory sessions and maintaining equipment particularly associated with paramedicine and/or sonography.

Strong Occupational Safety and Health awareness.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Tertiary qualifications are desirable but not necessary. The equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of relevant qualifications and experience would be considered favourably.

Benefits & Remuneration
This part time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $71,918 - $76,598 pa (pro rata) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
