Some of your responsibilities will include: - Under the direction of the Manager, you will lead key components of transport infrastructure project evaluations, including strategic reviews, financial, commercial, economic, legislative and benefits analysis. Under the direction of the Manager, you will draft key chapters of the Strategic Assessment of Service Requirements, Preliminary Evaluation and Business Case stages of the Project Assessment Framework. Develop and maintain effective working relationships to liaise with key stakeholders (internal and consultants) on a range of key issues relating to transport infrastructure investment and evaluation.
Requirements of the role

  • While it is not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in economics, civil engineering or transport infrastructure planning is highly regarded. Knowledge and experience of TMRs' OnQ Project management Framework and the Queensland Treasury's PAF which is consistent with the Department of State Development and Infrastructure's Business Case Development Framework (BCDF), as well as a transport infrastructure commercial/financial and economics background. Experience in developing and writing Strategic Assessment of Service Requirements, Preliminary Evaluation and Business Case Reports aligning with the PAF for major infrastructure projects. Project and program management experience in managing transport infrastructure planning and/or preconstruction phases.
