About the Role:
As a Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be joining a cohesive and dynamic team in Pyrmont. You will be responsible for liaising between overseas suppliers, customs agents, warehouses and 3PL.
Working with the sales team, you will be managing import shipments and scheduling transport for deliveries in an efficient and timely manner.
You will be responsible for managing the overall supply chain process.Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaising with overseas suppliers: place new orders, signing sales contract, monitor and managing shipments to ensure arrival to schedule.
- Liaising with shipping line and freight forwarder finding the best rates for import shipment bookings
- Placing FOB shipment bookings via shipping line platform for import purposes.
- Working closely with the sales team daytoday to manage deliveries to customers
- Manage, check, enter shipping documents from suppliers to SAP system are checked and in line with clearance and customer requirement.
- Work closely with customs agents, warehouses and 3PL to ensure efficient clearance, containers collection at wharf, unpack, storage and dehire.
- Communicate proactively with the sales team, customers, and transport contractors regularly on expected shipment schedules and delivery to customers in timely manner.
- Understand individual customer's trading terms and their requirements including payment terms, packaging, product type used and agreed storing period.
- Resolving daytoday problems with customers, warehouses, suppliers, and finding solutions.

- Proactive cando attitude, attention to details and willing to learn.

- Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor's degree from any major.
