About the Practice

Westmead Orthopaedics comprises a group of specialist orthopaedic surgeons who have been practicing in the region for more than 15 years.

Our Practice is centrally located in the precinct of the Westmead Private Hospital.

We have a team of friendly and committed staff who are essential in delivering excellent patient care in our busy rooms.

About the Position
Experienced medical receptionist required to provide high quality reception services and administrative support in a caring and supportive manner.

You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role and experience using Blue Chip, Clinic 2 Cloud and/or Genie will be highly regarded.

Your organisational skills and ability to take initiative will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, patient focused approach to day-to-day operations.

Hours are Mon-Fri (8.30 am - 5 pm) and will consider part-time job share or full-time.


Key responsibilities will include:

• General administration and reception duties;
• Maintaining a welcoming practice environment;
• Managing appointments and communicating relevant information to patients, GPs and other health professionals.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Medical receptionist experience preferred;
• Computer skills;
• Highly developed communication skills;
• Mature, professional and compassionate manner.

Desirable criteria:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Blue Chip and/or Clinic 2 Cloud software.
