Job Description:
Nine Plus is a national sales team within Nine.
The Nine Plus team connect the country's 40,000 small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with:
- Nine Television (9HD, 9Gem, 9Go, 9Life, 9Rush, 9Now)
- Nine Radio (2GB, 3AW, 4BC, 6PR)

(The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review, The Sun Herald, Domain, Good Weekend, Sunday Life, Traveller and many more):
With access to the highest rating television and radio assets, the only automated television ad buying platform the largest digital network and Australia's best print and data offerings, Nine Plus is a one stop shop for SMEs.
The team is growing rapidly and we are searching for anAccount Executive
to join our Melbourne office. This role is in our
Publishing sales team, across Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Australian Financial Review.
To be considered for one of these positions, first and foremost, you will need to love Nine You will be a regular viewer of Nine's free to air programming and a subscriber to 9Now, a listener to our radio network, and a reader of our newspapers and digital news platforms.
You will quickly become a critical support role - aiding a team of sales professionals as they generate proposals, negotiate bookings, deliver effective campaigns and then report on the success.
Qualifications:
You will need to have an understanding of the Australian media industry, and some other basic qualifications as follows:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Prior experience and a strong level of understanding of a business's internal software systems (for example, Salesforce, Saturn or Fusion).
- Ability to operate collaboratively as part of a team, or autonomously in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven, dynamic environment
