About the Role


The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing a diverse portfolio of professional events including technical and member networking forums, industry round tables, high profile summits and national and international conferences.


This position will be required to plan and deliver all operational and logístical aspects for key events across the portfolio as well as deliver partnered programs and events on behalf of Clean Energy Council Members.

The role will also involve significant collaboration and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.


Key responsibilities include:

Event Logistics- coordinate venue, audio visual, catering, exhibition and other services in line with agreed terms and assist with the delivery of events on site.

Event Planning & Administration:

  • plan and deliver a variety of events and provide administrative support for event related activities including scheduling, budget management and post event reporting.

Program Management - coordinate the development of program themes and content, speaker management and event registration processes

Event Marketing - coordinate the development of program related collateral, promotional material and web content to ensure all events are appropriately communicated and promoted to boost participation.


About You


You will be an experienced Event professional who has previously been involved in the coordination and delivery of national conferences, industry summits and member forums.


You will have a high level of energy and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.


Your strong communication and stakeholder management skills will see you thrive in this role as will your exceptional organisation skills and your ability to balance multiple priorities with ease.

You will have strong proficiency in Events Air (or similar) and the Microsoft Office suite.
