The Opportunity


As one of our HV Leading Hands you will work on an industry leading substation project in the greater Brisbane area.

This project involves connecting a new battery installation into a substation for Tesla, which supplies electricity to South East Queensland.

In particular the Gold Coast, Logan and South Brisbane areas.


As one of our experienced Leading Hands, you will perform electrical construction as well as have leadership accountability for a team of trade-qualified workers.


You will be rewarded with excellent working conditions under our enterprise agreement and have the opportunity to work on high voltage substation projects that are contributing to Australia's renewable energy future.


Skills and Experiences:

About You


To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • QLD Electrical License
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in moderate electrical construction and have experience leading a team
  • White Card, LV Rescue and CPR Certificate
  • Experience in high voltage testing, construction and maintenance will be highly regarded
  • Relevant industry experience in the installation, repair, commissioning, and maintenance of HV and substation equipment
  • Experience working within substations with some exposure to HV switchgear & operating equipment
