Your new team

The Orygen Youth Prevention & Recovery Care (YPARC) is an emerging 20-bed, 24-hour, 7-days residential sub-acute step-up step-down program supporting young people aged 15-25 years.

The multidisciplinary team is consists of lived experience, wellbeing, medical and clinical workforce.

Your new role:

Provide clinical leadership, management, training and supervision of a multidisciplinary team via training, secondary consultation, and other appropriate strategies
Provide leadership regarding discipline specific interventions
Demonstrate advanced skills in mental health, physical health and risk assessment, interventions, least restrictive practices and improved outcomes using evidence based best practice

About you:

Relevant registration and qualifications (see position description for details)
Comprehensive previous clinical experience in a mental health setting and/or related field and preferably with young people presenting with mental illhealth
A proven ability to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team: managing staff resources and ensuring high standards of practice through clinical review, training and professional development activities
Clinical experience in the assessment, case management, formulation and treatment of mental illness
