    This is an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to work with a family run business with over 25 entities under its belt in a varied role. This company delivers excellence in property and it's other ventures.

    The Role

    This part-time position is ideal for an individual seeking flexibility in their life. The successful applicant will bring with them several years of bookkeeping experience, enabling them to seamlessly tackle various financial tasks, including payroll and office admin.

    The practical experience of being within the role is a priority and is seen favorably above. This role entails an in-office presence, and the ideal candidate will find fulfilment in this collaborative and caring culture that is seen throughout the business. They value the input of this role and having your voice heard is a vital aspect of the role.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Monthly Payroll preparation
    • Supporting the external accountant
    • Performing reconciliations of General Ledger accounts
    • Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods
    • Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
    • Preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Reports for Accountant
    • Preparing GST return
    • Liasing with Shareholders

    To be successful for the role you will have the following attributes:

    • Excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask
    • Vibrant and self-motivated
    • Solid administrative experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Exposure to XERO and MYOB
    • Bookkeeping experience
